The Rover-Landers of BC

This years Snow Flake Chase is on Jan 11th, the Sunday after Founders Day. It will be a local run around Vedder Mountain near Cultas Lake.
We scouted the trail this weekend and as you might imagine there is lots of snow :shock: but that equals lots of fun :D
The trail is mostly level running so progress should be steady.
Note; there are a couple of sections with small brush shrubs that may cause a little scratching but nothing that shouldn't buff out with a quick polish!
Meeting at Tim Hortons at Whatcom road, Exit 95 off Highway 1 (just East of Abbortsford) at 9am, departing at 9.30am.
Expected length of trail is 5 hours, will be stopping for lunch at a nice view point over Cultas Lake (bring a packed lunch).
If you want to start the year with a great fun winter trail drive, this is your chance. If you are a novice off road driver, no worries, there will be lots of experienced snow drivers to help you along the way.
Bring a shovel, tow strap, snow boots, hot flask of coffee and a sense of adventure!

Thanks again to all those who planned and scouted the route for today's snowflake chase. A little rougher at the end than a normal snow run but hopefully nobody sustained any significant damage - not much you can do when Mother Nature is in control. Many thanks to the surveyors and road construction crew that made it possible for us to continue in the planned direction. It would have been a late night had we to retrace our steps. It is always good to see a few new faces on a run.

How does a day driving make you so tired?

After dinner and a short run home we were all ready to crash!

The kids were exhausted (so were Polly & I)
