Hi All,
Due to a mixup with the folks at Cloverdale Rodeo, the date has changed and is now January 10, 2009. Details to follow.

Yes, it will undoubtedly screw up things for a few people, but they made the mistake of double booking the Agriplex to another group for the full weekend. Luckily Shawn noticed the problem and we got ahold of them before all dates were gone. Sorry it's not gonna work out for everyone.

Glenn, we do get a discount. Due to the mistake on their part, they are giving us the Agriplex for the price of the Show Barn, a savings of $200.
Don, the posters are in the works.

I am going to be sooooo, late for this. I just realised my wife doesn't get back to the island until 2pm on the 10th, so I'll be as late as it takes to drive from Victoria airport to Duncan then back to the ferry, then wait in line as I'll no doubt have just missed a sailing, finaly on to the show. I expect I'll be there around closing time :(

Hello. I'm looking to try and get a Land Rover up to Founders Day from the USA. Is there anybody who was coming up as a passenger that would be interested in driving it from Blaine Washington? Must have a valid US drivers license. Please email me at

Good event Rover Landers especially all those who worked hard to make it happen. :D
The Demo’s where great and I think gives the event something extra to build on.
Congrats to the new Executive. 8)

x2. A great weekend! You can't imagine all the hours of work that goes into planning one of these. Thanks to all involved and thanks to the participants without whom it would all be for naught.

Good crowd too. Any idea how many vehicles were there?
And, how did the chase go?

I think I heard that there was 61(?) trucks this year.
My thanks as well to the ROVERLANDERS organizing committee.
I really look forward to Founders Day every year and this year exceeded my expectations.
THANKS TO ALL FOR THEIR EFFORTS AND HARD WORK PUTTING THIS ON.
Cheers,

I will post photos when someone sends me some. Right now we have photos of award winning trucks and owners taken by Pamela Blair at the event in the 2009 album folder in the gallery.
