Nice... thanks for not taking it too seriously :D :D
But lets face it cutting up the dash not great idea, unless you like dash rattles and squeaks (ala Escalades and alike) and almost all HID after market headlight conversions are pure cheese and often result in no high beam and light spewing every where, but on the road but where it should be.
You might consider a HSE LR3 or even a Range Rover some petty good deals these days and both have the goodies you want and they work well, very well.
Discovery bits.....

Hi DiscoLad,
Congrats on your new Land Rover, I have a 2003 SE7 and have to agree with you that the looks of the original shape are much more rugged and preffered.
I'm not too sure where you can find info on all the aftermarket stereo and Nav equip. you need but I'm sure Don at RoverTech can give you some good pointers (see "suporters" tab). Give him a call.
Cheers,
Andy

Welcome aboard DiscoLad,
Although not a big fan of high luxury Rovers I am a fan of Soccer Moms  All kidding aside you will generally get a cool response on this web board with the sort of questions your asking, partly because most of us don't know the answer and partly because we are secretly jealous of those out there who have a Rover that you can actually hear the stereo in while driving  I'm with Andy though Rovertech and perhaps Hesp Automotive are good bets to find the answers your looking for.
