MINES AND MOUNTAINS TOUR

it is time to post more info on this RUN. Dates are from sat JUNE 28,TH, to friday July 4th.Meeting in MIDWAY[east of OSOYOUS] mid afternoon , And picking up are local pal DANNY ANDERSON, We will then head to GREENWOOD and up the hill to MARSHALL LAKE , where we will camp 2 nights, Sunday we will seek out a couple of mine sites, ,Phoenix Mine being 1 of them, Monday we will drive to GRAND FORKS, and get tickets for the tour of THE ROCK CANDY MINE,.[hammers are supplied and samples of fluorite many be taken. and with a little searching possibly BARITE as well.Monday pm we will camp in the bush, and tuesday night at JEWELL LAKE,[showers etc. finally]. we will spend wed and thursday off looking for mountains to climb, and thursday night a camp near MIDWAY, friday those who would like to stay with us will head to GRANITE CITY NEAR COMEMONT, and camp, and join in on the saturday start with the ROVERLANDERS , who are doing their first of the season WHIPSAW clean ups.we will tag along with this group and complete the trail and head home when it is over. This run is an INVITATIONAL event, So please indicate interest to me, rick mellenger, and let me know who and how many and vehicle , please, email me at [email protected] cell is 604-309-1877, i am inviting 12 vehicles. with a likey settiling to 8 or 10 , with cancellations. there are about 6 spaces still available at writing.
