Howdy gents and ladies,

I was wondering if anyone had some spare time (less than 10 minutes) you might help with a student project required for graduation. We are doing a research project on fuels for small engines, and I figured a few of you would have various small engines.

Your information is anonymous, and helps three students with a final project. Your opinion and input is extremely valuable to this research project. Did the survey... seems like a marketing device to me. BTW... the fuel costs too much, do you have any idea how much it would cost to run a motorcycle or outboard motor with that stuff? :shock: Might be good for weed wackers or very small stuff like that.

Yes it is a marketing tool for researching if this product is viable for our client (we have to secure a sponsor/client just like a real company) and do a marketing research project on an opportunity, problem, or something that the client wants to better understand. This is the final BIG project which is required for graduating.

The survey is designed to better understand what the market will bear, and if there is a demand for something like this, rather than someone taking a risk and trying to sell something without doing market research.

Once we reach our target of respondents we analyze the results and then make recommendations that our client can choose to either act upon, or not.

Market research is a tough sell, but in the end it's worth it for a company/individual before making a commitment that can end up having negative financial consequences without the proper planning and research to back up new products or existing products introduced to new markets.
