How do Series I seat back brackets attach?

The LR (Series I) I'm restoring never came with the stock front seat
brackets for the seat backs. And I can't figure out for the life of me
how these gizmos attach to the front of the box. Does anyone by chance
have a picture they could send me please?

I read someting about a rubber bumper on them as well, is this so?

They have about a 12" rail with a "Swivel foot" at the bottom.

Thanks, Pat

What year and model? The 80" seats attach quite differently than later models, from what I recall. If you can tell us year and model, it's likely someone has a truck they can photograph for you.

Update on seat back rails

In the hopes of helping others out, and the help I got from others I have figured out that the swivel feet (Brackets) that come on the backets from Exmoor Trim are not used on the '56 Series I 86". So simply take them off, and slip the brackets on to the stock brackets on the front of the box. Assuming of course you have the brackets. I did, but did not know they were the seat brackets, thought they were reinforcements for the front of the box (DUH)....never having taken the orignal seats out and knowing nothing about LR's it's a learning curve... I'm a TVR man myself if anyone needs to know anyting about them!

Thanks all.
Pat
