Hi, I would try another mechanical oil pressure gauge and confirm weather there is oil pressure.

I seem to recall that some of those spin on adapters could and or can be installed incorrectly preventing proper flow. Might be worth a check.

I agree. Check the spin on adapter. Put them on backwards and you are in trouble.

Oil filter adapters

If it is one or our Rocky Mountain adapters it has a plate rivetted to the housing that says 'THIS SIDE UP'. In practice this plate is aligned slightly towards the front of the engine. If you can't see the plate from above the adapter is upside down and there will be no oil flow to the motor. Ray
