Advice on trails in southern BC?

Hi guys - A few friends are bringing their rovers out west for a 2 weeks trip (10 trucks for our annual ROXS trip). I have been tasked to arrange for some trails for us to explore while they are out here. The guys will be meeting me in Calgary. So far, looks like we will day trip to Banff (for some siteseeing) then head up to White Swan park for a night. Then head down to Crowsnest to do Racehorse Pass and then head over to run Whipsaw. I don't know the area very well and hope you guys can suggest a few other trails that would occupy two or three days. Not looking for too much rock crawling...just some moderate trails with nice scenery to impress the lads from back east.
Cheers for now
Ronan

You should do Northfork to Racehorse then visit the DC3 plane crash up the top of North York Creek trial.

Saw the posts on the trail. Already added to the itinerary. Any other suggestions?

The trails are basically endless in that area (well in all of BC really). Stop by the FasGas in Frank and pick up a CNPQuadsquad map which covers Kananaskis south to the border and a ways into BC.
You did not mention timing. All forestry areas in the southern half of Alberta are closed to all access at the moment due to the high fire danger. Also note that Racehorse pass is closed on the BC side from September 1 to the end of November.
Trails closed...

Hmmm - this may be an issue. Guys are arriving Sept 4 - we are heading out on Sept 5th-14th.
Red 90 - haven't run that trail before, worth coming in Racehorse from the other side if the BC side is closed?

Nice spot but you could likely get a subaru up the Alberta side, it is the nicer looking side but the difficult trial parts are on the BC side.

Gray Creek Pass from Kimberley over to Kootenay Lake is great of you are venturing west a bit further. Main road is passable for a 2WD but there are numerous side roads to explore. Whiteswan through to Aberfeldie (Bull River) is a good drive. Not much side road access. Lumberton through to Kidde Creek along 500Kv powerline route. Yahk creek through to Kikkomun creek has many side road adventures. Gilknockie Ridge is a rough one if you want more adventure along the Yahk Creek route.
Forestry Maps can be of help but they are usually out of date.
