It can definitely be done. Green Giant on this list is working on a 300tdi conversion into a classic RR, I'm looking into either a 200 or 300 tdi conversion for myself, and others are talking about it.

I got a 200 tdi from Stuart Longair. It was from a disco, I dont know if it would fit in a LHD rangie. I'm not sure if he has any more.
