Someone sent me this recently...
Hello,
Would it be possible to forward this invitation to the members of your
club?
Thanks-
I am posting in search of dormobile and Carawagon (and any other camper
conversion) owners to recruit for a 2008 Dormobile owner Rendezvous. I
have made up a frappr map to show locations for all USA dormobiles so
that we can get an idea of dispersement to help us plan a location.
Keith Shukait is the USA Area Rep for Dormobile Owner's Club and he is
the contact for information. The planning stages are in their very
beginnings right now but hopefully we will have a large turnout. All
models of dormobile are included, not just rovers.
If anyone wants to be part of the club you can join here:
http://www.dormobile.org.uk/
to place your dormobile on the Frappr map:

To talk to keith email: [email protected]
Any help on organizing or suggested locations would be welcome!
To join the USA land rover dormobile list so you can keep up on this
events schedule:

All,
It's time to plant the seeds for the 2008 North American Continent
Dormobile Rendezvous. Why 2008? Lots of us are in the middle of
restorations and need time to complete, people's schedules are very
busy and with enough notice we can pull it off. If we put a date on the
calendar it will motivate folks (me) to get the restoration finished
and get our rigs back on the road. Somewhere in the middle of the
continent would be best for drive times. So let's narrow it down by
asking some general questions, please indicate your preferences:
What Region: Canada
United States
Mexico
What Season: Spring
Summer
Winter
Fall
What Month in that season:
Where: National Park
BLM Land
Trail
Auto event
Other
How Long: Day
Weekend
Week
How far will you Drive? 500 miles
1000 miles
Doesn't matter
Even if you're not interested please respond, we need know how you
feel. All responses will help with event planning.
Best regards,
Keith & Pam Shukait
