1976 Carawagon

#1 Post by StuartL » Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:14 am

Hello from England my friends,

This weekend I went to Zurich and picked up the latest addition to my collection. It is a 1976 Carawagon with tons of history and documentation, it has been from Anchorage to Argentina, Portugal to Sinapore and five times to India. It is very sweet. Yesterday I drove it from Zurich to London with no problems.

I just couldn't help myself and thought I would share some pictures with you.

So here it is....

My plans are to leave it here till the spring and then come back for the LRE show at Eastnor and then do some travelling. It came complete with the bed linen and dishtowels.

I also came across an absolutely wonderful LHD MOD Defender 90 softtop with 22,000 miles on it. If anyone is interested they should contact Graham Hodgeson at Whitham. It is not on their site. I also have some pictures if you email me at [email protected].

Have fun at the RTV trials and we will see you all soon.

Hi Stu, the carawagon looks great, can't wait to see it in the flesh. Just how many 109's can a guy own? Don't answer, there is no limit.
