OK, this is a true basket case.

A few years ago we bought a running 1991 Suzuki/Geo Tracker. It has an 86 inch wheelbase.
It ran well, but the frame was rusted through in a couple of spots.

The plan was to cut the body off, reinforce the frame, and drop on an 86" Series 1 body. This would give us a Series 1 with coil springs, modern brakes, and parts available at Lordco.

Well of course life got in the way: we cut the body off and then got distracted, and it has been sitting under a plum tree in my driveway collecting moss and plums ever since. Ran when parked  but who knows how much effort it would take to get it running today. It may just need some clean fuel and a new battery, or it may need a bit more effort. The air inlet was covered when we pulled the body off, and it's had a tarp over the engine. It's got the usual Suzuki 1600 engine with the manual 5 speed gearbox.

It is fully registered. You could put plates on it today. Someone can turn this into a buggy, or if you have another Suzuki that is lacking registration, that could be helpful, or if you want to turn it into a Series 1, I have a couple spare Series 1s and Series 1 body parts in my yard, but that would be an additional cost.

Someone please take this away, my wife is no longer amused.

Oh, I forgot to mention, it's at my house in Chilliwack. I will give it a day or two here and then I will put it onto 4WDABC

cheers

This is gone, but it turns out the series that went with it was an 80", not an 86".
Apparently I need to pay better attention to the trucks in my yard.
