The Rover-Landers of BC

I have been hearing noise that the trail going over China Head Peak and Poison Mountain have restricted access on it now. Something to do with trails at 1927m elevation....... Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? I was hoping to do a run up there this year but uncertain of legality of access to the trail......

Poison Mountain is restricted due to damage from 4x4s, although the access road to China Head is still open. The south road around Poison is “open”, but wasn’t passable several weeks ago due to deadfall’s.
