Hi All
I'm selling my 1976 Land Rover 101 Forward Control – Left Hand Drive.
The vehicle had a frame up rebuild completed by me in the early 90's. The vehicle was fitted with a fully rebuilt Toyota Landcruiser 2B 4 cylinder turbo diesel, with matching Toyota Landcruiser 5 speed gearbox. The vehicle has done only 30,000 kms (approx 18,600 miles) since the rebuild. That includes travel north to Alaska and south to Baja California.
The current powertrain out-performs the original Land Rover engine and box, but the vehicle could easily be retrofitted with an original powertrain if desired.
The vehicle features front and rear ARB diff locks, a 9,000lb electric front winch, twin fuel tanks and custom free-wheel front hubs. The canvas tilt is in excellent condition.
This is a rare vehicle and is huge fun to drive, on and off the road. It drives, steers and stops well but needs some light recommissioning. There is a small amount of rust in the rear crossmember (see picture).
Located in lower mainland BC, very close to the US border.
Asking CDN$30,000.
Cheers, Chris.
