The Rover-Landers of BC

I set out to see if the snow that stopped our club convoy back in March was still there blocking the bridge. Only a little bit of snow left, but enough to require a shovel and prevent the loop from closing. I will have to try again soon, the rain probably melted it away by now. It was nice to learn a bit more about the traction control system in the Land Rover LR3 - we found that 3rd gear manual shifting and Sand mode gave the best throttle response and wheel spin to cut through the snow and keep momentum up. But when I found a deep spot we sank down to the chassis, and the heavy spring snow with lots of rain was hard as ice, so we were high centered and out the shovel came.

I learned of this location from the club, and highly recommend people join to come out and feel confident in our backyards!
