The Rover-Landers of BC

The Rova-boys rescued this 1997 Discovery 1 from Hope last year and fixed it up to get it back on the road.

The vehicle was originally a North American Spec V8 Auto but was converted to a 300Tdi 5-speed at some point by a previous owner.

The current mileage is 356,000km, but the engine and transmission mileage are unknown.

The following repairs were completed by Rovalution Automotive over the last few months. A value of about $12,000
- new clutch assembly and linkage
- New clutch master and slave cylinders
- New transfer case front output seal
- Rear brake discs and pads and wheel bearing re-pack
- Rear brake calipers and brake fluid flush
- Replacement used fuel tank cradle
- 300Tdi timing belt kit with new crank pulley, tensioner and crankshaft seals
- new engine mounts
- new fuel filter
- new power steering hoses
- re-sealed engine oil pan
- new steering drag link and tie-rod ends and four-wheel alignment
- new wiper blades

This vehicle with require some interior and exterior cosmetic and bodywork rust repairs, but can be driven reliably at this point.
