Spences Bridge Trip

For the Spences Bridge trip planned for May 28,27 and 28th I have some preliminary thoughts that I will throw out.

Alan Simpson of Roverworks has offered us the use of a lovely spot next to the Nicola River on his property for camping. Those that would prefer not to camp there is accomodation at the nearby "Inn at Spences Bridge" or in Merritt.

Alan's place is about 37 KM from Merritt and 17 km from Spences Bridge on Highway #8. He has a couple of great Land Rover projects on the go which are very interesting.

The coordinates of his front gate are: West 121.13.428 and North 50.20.758. I will post a picture of it closer to the time.

Anyone who knows the area it would be great to hear from you and your ideas for trips. Alan suggested a route North of him on Saturday through some lakes ending up in Merritt and then we could head in a Southerly direction on Sunday.

I look forward to hearing from who would be interested. We should be able to get a great group together and get some of our interior members out.

Looking forward to hearing from you..

Hey Stuart, Since you asked so nicely and formally. I would love to graciously accept the invitation, both to attend the event and to take advantage (oops did I say that) of Alan's hospitality :)

After climbing a hill and going slightly down the other side, you will see a wooden fence (assuming you can see in the dark, or have a flashlight) on your right that has a sign, Hay For Sale, with the phone number 458-2447.

Or... you could head up early in the morning, when things are light.

Hello Stuart,

I normally use 146.460, its armature frequency
but since Bill will be arriving Friday night you would want to use
156.425
Which radio did you get?
I might come out for the day on Saturday

Kris
