Looks like I may be off the road for a few weeks until 1 can get one from the UK...darn Bank Holiday this week too...x2

I have a complete one for a disco1 if that helps you ?

They aren't the same size unfortunately. It seems they didn't raid the Solihull parts bin for those...

Could you just get a piece of safety glass cut to size and seal it in place? (non-opening)
They would likely cut it for you while-you-wait and a fraction of the cost :blackeye:

I expect the "exploding sunroof" story will be a good topic around the campfire, I did tell you that James Bond ejector seat was a bad idea!

Happened randomly on the driveway…not even a sunny day…about a million 4mm cubes of glass both inside and outside…spent about 2 hours vacuuming them out yesterday!

It’s apparently quite common for the Defender sunroofs to randomly explode…and this one decided to wait 26 years… :!: I’ve only had a side 3rd row window on a UK Ford Galaxy do that previously…sounded like a gun shot.

Waiting for a large UK supplier to confirm that ‘apparently’ has the genuine glass part with hinges and knob for a ‘mere’ $460 Canadian inc shipping and taxes :shock: RoversNorth wants just under $1000 :cough:

Otherwise I might go for the double glazed fixed aftermarket one.
