For sale: my 1963 - 88 inch 2A station wagon - 7 passenger.
Had it for 10 years and thought I'd offer it here before posting publicly elsewhere.
Mechanically in very good condition.
Body in very good condition. All original paint and patina.
Has original rubber mats front and rear. Frame and bulkhead in good condition for its age.
All gauges, wipers & heater work.
Carburetor is a Rochester & generator was replaced with new 1 wire alternator.
Mileage Marker Deluxe MM front hubs
This vehicle has never been "abused".
All 4 rear fold-up seats still there as well as 3 front seats in "Gray elephant hide". All in excellent condition
This vehicle was ordered by an executive at Trail (Cominco) for his wife. It is a Canadian 7-passenger "estate" station wagon.
It has Canadian Internal Trim option + Kodak III heater unit option.
When ordered, almost every available option was checked off.
This station wagon cost $4116.
A 1963 Chevrolet Impala convertible with $161 SS package cost $3185.
The second owner was the nephew of the original owner and he only licensed it in the winter months.
It had been in his garage for over 10 years before I bought it as the third owner.
98,000 original miles.
Has BC registration. Presently is licensed & insured as a Vintage vehicle.
Probably the most heavily optioned ORIGINAL 7 passenger Station Wagon in BC if not in Canada.
I've had a number of Series ones over the years and they are wonderful Beasts.
The 2A has all of their qualities off-road but is much more refined:
quieter inside, more powerful with the 2.25 motor, hydraulic clutch, more comfortable seats, etc...
I was going to keep "forever" but have to be realistic
The price is $20,000.
I have lots of photos but decided to only load this one.
If you want more pictures please e-mail: [email protected]
