was like the guy that was wanting to get rid of a series safari, i told him i knew what he paid and i was willing to go a little above that, he said "i know what i have, with papers and running its worth over 10,000$" i told him if it was running and had papers id be offering him that!! people are insane sometimes.

Given how much is missing, and the condition of what is left, he’s dreaming on his price. Most of what is left is only really of value to build another NADA 109. A few pieces will fit any 2/2a.

If he truly thinks what he has is worth his asking price, it isn’t going anywhere until he comes back to reality of what it’s worth.

My experience is when people are that unrealistic on its value, they are unlikely to respond well to what they see as a lowball (even if it is the real value of the item).

You’re also more generous than me, I wouldn’t pay as high as $3k for it. There’s a lot of parts missing so to me this would be parts for my other NADA 109 project that is far more complete. Pretty tough start as a project with what is missing from it.

If anyone is looking to snap up this bargain for only 10k, I can sell you the remaining missing body for ONLY another 10k... :|

Agreed!

Kind of sad how absolutely insane the values of series Land Rovers are becoming. Way out of my price range now - not unlike American muscle cars from the 60's and 70's.

Everyone from the club should email expressing interest and offering a really low price, maybe he will get the message when 60 people ask about it but only offer 2-3K...

Price dropped to $5k, still overpriced but moving in the right direction. Guessing he has had more than one person tell him his price is way over what it’s worth.
