R380 Defender Gearbox for rebuild - $100

I replaced my R380 Defender Gearbox last year with a new unit from the UK and have been tripping over the old gearbox for a while now and i really need the space.
The old gearbox had become difficult shifting down into second to the point where you had to be stopped to get it into 2nd and other gears were getting "knotchy"
If you want a spare R380 for parts or maybe you are braver than me and willing to take it apart to do a rebuild?
Currently in Richmond- $100

How long was it overheated?

There were no signs or instances of the gearbox over heating, why do you ask?
If you are looking at the darker area on the photo its just oil and wipes off. -

Hi Andy I may be feeling brave one day. I'll take it I'm not sure when I'll be over next though.
My box needs new synchros and leaks a bit.

Hi Rob,
It was a 300Tdi. It will be interesting to see what you find in there once its apart. (just in case the same thing happens to my new gearbox!)
