Dunsfold DLR Closes their doors suddenly

Anyone who has an old Land Rover knows the name Dunsfold, not only for the amazing collection amassed over the years but for being the source for those unattainable old parts. I have received many original parts in little boxes wrapped in wax paper from the 50's. In business since 1968 it will be sorrily missed.
I was looking for a couple of bits for the 1952 restoration we are doing and received an email with a pro-forma invoice on Monday morning from Tim. I replied to go ahead and didn't hear anything. A few days later the LRSOC had a post about Philip retiring and closing the business. I checked the website and the following message had been posted

If you haven't seen it I would recommend having a look at the impressive collection of unique Land Rovers of the Dunsfold Collection http://www.dunsfoldcollection.co.ukDunsfold DLR has now closed due to Philip retiring after many happy years trading since 1968. The workshops and parts departments are now closed. I will be concentrating my time on the wonderful Dunsfold Collection. Thank you for your custom over the years. Philip
