Hi Ray, Good to hear that progress has been made, was the BC registration difficult?

Are you planning to paint the camper sides to the match the Land Rover colour 8)

Roof rack maybe? (although not much height room in the garage

Cheers
Andy

I think you have a few centimetres to spare to the roof......

We upgraded the brakes to discs all round and the truck is running like a clock. After changing the 230 transfer case from 1.2 to 1.4 it holds a steady 90Kph on the highway (Thanks Don). Suspension remarkably comfy and cabin (reasonably) quiet. Camper is bliss after using a rooftop tent for years.
We just had a US customer make a similar ISUZU 4BD conversion in a military 110. If anyone is contemplating something similar we have a 4BD1T motor here looking for a new home.

You need to put on a better turbo. You won’t believe how fast your old truck is now.

Hmm. I wonder if this turbo kit might be the one to use:

That is what I have. You can do your own cheaper if you like and don’t mind the fab work. The 110 is 7000 pounds when loaded for a trip and has no problem maintaining the speed limit on any hills in BC at part throttle with lots left over to pass.
