Hi Everyone

If there is enough interest (4 rover minimum) we will try to go for a drive Sunday October 6th. I have no clue where. I will need a ride please I have no running rover and probably will not have a running rover for a couple more years the way this restoration is going.

**Amendment as of Sept15th.**

Okay we have our 4 rover minimum, so we will meet at the Tim Horton's across from the BC Forest museum just north of Duncan on Sunday the 6th for a 9:00am sharp departure to the old Green Mountain ski hill via lake Cowichan and coming back through the 4 lakes and the Bungy zone just south of Nanaimo.
Bring a lunch, a camera, lawn chairs, a 2 way radio of some sort, and your hiking boots their is a nice 20 minute hike up to where the old ski lodge was located some of it is still standing.
This is a non scratch run suitable for all land Rovers (even Freelander's)

Sounds like a good idea to me unless I can persuade anyone to join me for the North West Challenge that same weekend ...

OPPS forgot about the North west challenge, I do offer my apologies to the organizers of that great event.

Okay we are now up to 3 rovers we still need 1 more to make this event a go. So anybody else interested?

I'll be there too! Just need to get a truck ready, if it comes to it I may have to ride in Luxury with the LR3.

Some photos from Sunday , although thwarted by 3 gates, it did not dampen our enthusiasm and enjoyment of a good day on the back roads.

Had a great time taking the 109 on it's first Rover Run. Looking forward to many more once it is less drippy and has a cab with a heater.
