S1 80 inch (short cab top)


Starts and stops. Clutch working, new SU fuel pump.


Body is fairly straight, chassis has very minor corrosion on the rear x member. Original oval dash gauges (working), dash lights work. Hi-Low switch present, correct rear lic light.


Engine starts well, no smoke, quiet gear box. Needs exhaust and seats.


Requires work but, this is a fairly correct example, a straight forward light restoration, or could be brought back to a very high standard. I can do the restoration if you wish.


S1 80 are now very rare in any condition and much sought after. I have it BC registered.

Well....it all started when Land Rover took exception to my old company name (after 30+ years existence )....a name we must never speak...
Any where my company name appeared was no longer useable by me. Therefore i lost my email addresses and forum names.Thus I am a" rookie" (which happens to be one of my dogs names).

I'm still at it and well booked at the shop with Land Rovers, Jaguars and British oddity. I work under my ranch name now.

Answers to questions

Yes, charging system works and indicates correctly with dash warning lamp.

Tires are old .

I have a full length cab available.

Springs are good/ shocks need replaced
