Hi All,

Each year the Rover-Landers hold joint "Wheels Events" with the Land Rover of Richmond Dealership, this year it is being held on Saturday 15th June. It will be a one day run from Cultus Lake to the Canadian Border Peaks for lunch. This run is classed as fun, light off-road which will be a great opportunity for those with newer Land Rover vehicles or for those who haven't done too much off-road driving and are looking to get some practice. We will also have some seasoned veterans who will be willing to share their skill & tips and lend a hand to those who may need it along the way.
We currently have a few spots remaining before the cut off (25 Land Rovers). Note; pre-registration is required only those on the attendee list can attend.

What - Land Rover WHEELS Event
When - Saturday 15th June 2019 Meeting at 9.30am at Whatcom Road, exit 95 off highway #1, plan to be back on the Highway approx. 4pm
Where - Cultus Lake to the Canadian Border Peaks
What Else - Fun Light off-road, shared event with Land Rover of Richmond Dealership, Family Friendly, lunch will be provided up at the 5000 ft Border Peaks look out, this is a Land Rover only event, very limited numbers (so first come first served). No Passport required!

Cheers,
Andy

Happy I am able to join the group. Going to try to get my brother to come along. Are we meeting at Tim's or on the South side of the highway?

Yes, meeting at the gravel lot that's just south of Tim's (but still north of the highway).
Please note 9.30am is the departure time, so please have your fuel / snacks / washroom break completed before that time! Lunch will be provided by Land Rover.

Cheers, Andy
PS - Martin, ha, I was going to bring the Evoque but I thought better bring the Defender so I can pull your Disco out when needed!!

A fun and sunny day out in the local mountains. We had Land Rovers from 1952 to 2019, a few photos, more coming soon.
Its always wonderful to get the old and new together for a common cause ... Adventure 8)
