Hello! I am in possession of a very rare Land Rover, it is one of the only 811 Series 2A 109 Land Rover NADA Station Wagons equipped with all original parts including the original straight 6 Engine. I just recently got it into my possession. It has been sitting for many many years but its body panels and just about everything is in amazing shape its just in need of a serious clean. However it does need a brand new frame which is the biggest draw back but also makes this vehicle a prime candidate for a full restoration. As much as I would love to do this job I don't have the time or the means to do it. I am trying to find out what this vehicle is worth in the shape that it is in so that I can sell it to someone who will appreciate it for what it is and is someone looking to restore one of these unique and original vehicles. I have detailed pictures of this vehicle but am not sure how to upload them onto this post. SO if anyone has an idea as to what this vehicle is worth in the state that it is in please let me know, very much appreciated.

Hi if your not to far I may be interested.
Where are you located?

I’m also not sure if I’m up for another massive
Project but if the price was in my budget who knows .

Could you email me some pictures.

Hi Guys

I have number 800 out of 811 and its also a Dormobile very original and rusty but repairable. They are pretty much like any other 5 door rover in need of a restoration doable but a 5 door is the most complex series rover to restore.
I will warn you about one draw back with these vehicles. If the engine needs work you need very deep pockets, parts are almost impossible to get and 4 times the price of other rover engine parts.

They do have a lot of neat features that other 109s of that era did not get. Rovers North has a list of all the remaining ones if you do a search on their forum, most have had the original 6 cylinder engine removed and replaced with something else.
Have fun.

Hi marc

Sorry no luck on the pictures they just disappear when I try to post them.
So do you want NADA pics or Dormobile pics, anything specific, I could email them tp you. I have learned a lot about the NADA rovers during the first phase of the restoration.
