I recommend reading the article on this site under technical articals. Ecentually it needs to be on a frame that is over 15 years old and registered as over 15 years old.

Yep, as long as it is over 15 years old, there are no problems at all. You will need to pay GST and duty.

suggest that you check with canada customs and revenue
items brought in as "settler goods" have some exemptions that do not apply to me importing a vehicle - there should not be any charge for either provincial sales tax or gst (vat) on settlers goods , and there may be different rules on the age of the vehicel as well . It is also subject to a minimum ownership period prior to importation - 12 months if the rules haven't changed in the past few years .
