Well I bought a Landie off of craigslist and thought what the hell I'll just drive it as is...that didn't last long (about an hour). Since getting getting in Jan, I have ordered a new bulkhead, floorboards, tires, seats, card rebuild kit, new exhaust, new Rad, new steps, windshield glass, disk brake conversion, old man emu shocks, parabolic springs, 3 new doors and latches, nuts/bolts, bits and bobs... the list goes on and on. The plan is to complete a cosmetic restoration by the end of June. Here is the starting point, a nice 72 with a galvanized chassis, a very strong 5 main bearing engine, rebuilt transfer case and a new Romerdrive overdrive.

Great job! I'm glad you're getting down to the nuts and bolts of it. I'm in the process of giving mine a frame off... so far engines been rebuilt, brakes are done, trans and clutch.. OD to go in one weekend and then suspension and then it's interior... and paint... and and and and and... but it'll be great when it's done!

Yes agreed, looking great.
In this crazy world of self isolation, a Landy project in the garage is the perfect past time.
