Greetings all: I need the wiper linkage for my 1993 RRC NAS LHD County LWB - the old linkage has rotted off at the spindles under the rubber bushings below the decker panel. will pay handsomely for replacement - the rubber sealing boots above the decker panel would be greatly appreciated too. My wiper linkage assembly has a rectangular plate with a large hole in each corner. Possible parts # are RTC6096 or RTC 6633 but not confirmed. VIN is SALHC1347PA627239. Cheers

I have a 93 SWB NAS RRC parts car, should be the same. The wipers worked good when I parked it up a few years ago, so the linkage should be ok.

Great! I live near Vernon - so I have to ask if you would be willing to remove the complete assembly and mail it to me? I know its a fair bit of work so I would be happy to pay a good deal for you trouble - please advise or phone me. Cheers

I will have a good look at the linkage this week and get back to you.

Thanks - the most critical part for me is the state of the spindles - look for excessive blistering rust under the rubber boot below the decker panel. But as long as the spindles turn ok, they will probably be ok. My motor and link arms are ok but I may as well buy the complete assembly including the boots above the decker panel and the washer and 22 mm nut. Thanks

So I have checked it as far as possible and its all intact, with very slight lash in the spindles. Looks like a real pain to remove. How does $100 for the motor, linkage and spindles sound?

That sounds good - $100 plus postage. Please send me a PM (or phone) with your details as to where to send my cheque. Thanks

I have the complete assembly off, motor, linkage and spindles. All looks good and works. Do you still want it? Sorry it took so long.

Yes, I would still like to get it - I think I mentioned that I also need the spindle nuts, flat washers and rubber boots that are on top of the decker panel. I will send you a PM with my mailing address. Let me know via PM the price including mailing and how you would like payment. Thanks for doing this - I know what a pain it is to remove!
While waiting, I fooled around with the old one and came up with a repair using a short length of 1/2" electrical conduit and JB Weld (my favourite), but in order to free up the spindle shaft, I had to press off the lever by grinding off the peened section - but this didn't leave a lot to press back in, so after pressing it back on, I drilled and tapped the shaft for a 6-32 screw and washer and all gooped up with more JB Weld. It seems solid but I will feel a lot better having a good one in there as this mission critical assembly that can't be easily fixed on the side of the road. Cheers
