Thought I'd show everyone what I'm doing , started this about 11 years ago when I bought the marsland chassis , I built the diffs a couple years after and everything has sat since then until a year ago . Nos leaf springs from Ike , power brakes , roamerdrive , I rebuilt the trans and transfer box plus the 2.5 n/a diesel . New wiring harness from British wiring everything is either new or rebuilt . Had a hard time with the colour .I love pastel green but my 59 is a light green , thought about bronze green but decided to go land rover sand . I have a long way to go hoping to have it done next year , but just wanted to share. Troy

Looks great! Love the colour. With the bulkhead fitted, you can really start bolting on the parts.

Thanks Matt , I really really want to get it done this year, but don't know if that's going to happen . It's crazy no matter how much I do on it there seems to be more and more to do lol

Well after not being able to touch the 88 for the last couple months due to the cold weather ( I work on it outside) I managed after a few days of struggling to get the thing fired up and running :bounce: :bounce: just need to bolt the overdrive on it and the mechanical end is pretty well done . It's noisy and it's Smokey like everyone here that owns a n/a knows but it's pretty cool. Going to get started on the rest of the body and I need to get the trim galvanizing done somewhere, lots of work yet but it's coming.

Well been slowly picking away , found a capstan winch , rebuilt the winch built a new plate for it and a drive as it didn't come with one . Tub had the have the floor and supports replaced as well as the back angle piece and the taillight panels . Finally got around to putting the overdrive on . The door frames needed to be repaired and put new skins on . The tubs on and the bulkhead is adjusted , need to put the hinges together and hang the doors next . Slowly getting there.
