Hi everyone,
I am having some diffficulties removing the transmission from the engine.
The 110 is stripped down to the frame. All body parts are removed(bulkhead still in place), The seat boxes and bases are off as are the tunnel pieces. I removed the transffer case from the gearbox and managed to get it out from the top. I've taken out the clutch cylinder, and removed the 11 nuts that secure the tranny to the engine. The mounting bases are unbolted. The tranny won't budge.
What am I missing? Thanks alot, Dan.
help please! 110 transmission

Sweet Freedom
The tranny is free. One more question though.
The replacement 77 has been sitting in my garage for over a year, and when I bought it, there was a copper lube applied to the shaft. It's always been protected and still looks well coated. Should I clean it off and apply and new coat? If so what is that stuff called?
