Hi all, I am putting the wings back together on my 110, and would like to know if I need to put any kind of stripping or whatever else where the wing parts are bolted together.
Is body tape related to this?
Thanks for all your help. Dan.

Hi Dan,
The factory doesn't put anything at any of the joints in the wings. I haven't noticed any corrosion at the interface between the wing and the steel bulkhead but I suppose if there are going to be problems this is where they would appear first. Perhaps an insulating strip in this joint could be useful. I wouldn't bother with any of the other joints. IMHO

One could put a llittle roofing zinc strip in between the joints. The zinc will corrode before the iron whether stainless or galvanized.

Body panel ADHESIVE comes in rolls from places like NAPA or our LORD CO stores. it is used in airstream trailers and other places, easy to use too. . all the best rick.m
