Northwest Challenge 2007 - MORE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

#1 Post by DaveB » Tue Sep 04, 2007 9:27 am

Watch for details to appear soon!
A small reconnaissance team was out this weekend and I'm happy to report we've found the spot and run some of the trails! I'll be contacting those that have volunteered to help later in the week — as there will be lots of opportunity to get involved. And hopefully later this week get the registration forms and details online.

Dave,

Correct me if I am wrong but I cannot find a link from the home page that gets me to the same page that the link from your last posting does.

Hi John, you might need to refresh your browser a couple of times. I tried to trick it into self refreshing using a link to a new page, but some browsers are stubborn...

OK, now I see the link you are talking about. I am pretty sure that earlier this morning in that same spot was a hotlink to your email. I was trying to click the "NW Challenge" link from the main menu bar across the top of the page.

OK. it's funny how I was saying, where's all the US participants for the NW Challenge.

Now we Canadians are outnumbered 4 to 3.

So, did everyone just get soft or what?? :wtf:

Where are all the Rover-Lander Challenge Alumni????

Have all the tough trucks become pretty boy trucks??? :binky:

Bottom line is we need 10 trucks by Monday!!!!!!!!!

And only two of which are from BC.... come on guys, I haven't been fixing up the truck just for founders day ;) BTW... I'm still running the 2.5na so you don't have to worry if you have an under powered truck

A few years ago I competed in one of these events and it was one of the best times I have ever had. We were in a 11a 88 unmodified and it was very competitive with the rest of the trucks. Any truck with decent tires and a couple of guys or girls that want to have fun should consider this event. Even if you don't place highly you will be surprised at the great fun and great friends you make during this excellent adventure. This will be the 19 th year for this historic event and we will be there to look out for you and after you.
