After the party at Don's today as I was cruising back along the low road to Park Royal I spotted a fully decked out Defender 110. I had to turn around, and investigate. The Capilano R.V. park was where we stopped and pulled up to the vehicle and a nice couple.
They are from France doing a tour of North America, and it was a pleasure to meet David and Monica. They are in a brand new 2006 110 td5 rover which had a beautiful custom interior. They did not speak much English, and we do not speak much French, but we understood one anther perfectly :wink:
They seemed like a great couple, and are in town for a day or two down at the Capilano R.V. park. and are heading out to quieter pastures. David showed me the Rover quickly, and I got a couple of pictures. We left themas quickly as we arrived, because we could see that they were exhausted.
They told us they had not seen many Rovers in Canada... *lol* we told them about the opening they missed, and the Rovers that we got to see.
