Founders Day - Sat Oct 4th 2025

Hi Fellow Rover-Landers,

Mark your calendars for Sat, October 4th. We will be holding our annual Founders Day gathering from 10 am to 4 pm at the Chilliwack Heritage Park indoor arena. We invite all Land rovers, old and new, matt or Shiny.
$25 per vehicle to display your vehicle in the indoor area. Proceeds from the entry fees and raffle will be used to offset the cost of holding this event. PAY AT THE DOOR ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. Walk-in's are free.
Activities include;
Show Awards
Raffle
Camping Setups
Parts Swap Meet (Bring your own Landy bits to sell)
Vendor Booths
Photos of Past Runs
Kids area (with a Land Rover computer driving game)
Food concession
An overnight camping option is available

Bring the family! The Heritage Park is also hosting a Thrift Fair next door. Something for everyone :)
Pass the word around. We are looking forward to seeing old and new friends

We will also organize an off-road run in the local area on Sun, October 5th. The meeting place and time is to be announced.

We also offer a camping option on Saturday night. A non-profit organization has kindly offered their grounds overlooking the Fraser Valley for us to use. A donation of $20 is suggested. Please confirm your request for camping spot on this thread. (post below).

Hi Roverlanders,

I am a club member who volunteered to take the lead in organizing our annual Founders Day event. I am making a personal appeal for volunteers to help on the day of the event itself, such as:

- Morning setup
- Parking
- Collect entry fees
- Photography
- Tear down and closing

I appreciate your help, even for a few hours if you are not planning to be there there the whole day. It would help me immensely if you can help. I can be reached via private messaging, as well as on this thread. Please message me with your contact info so that I can follow up with you.

Hi, can I get a check-in from folks who are interested in camping please?

I am also looking for additional volunters to help with door entries, parking and photography. We have a three individuals who have offered. We need a few more so that everyone can take turns, and allow flexibility for each volunteer to also enjoy the company and vehicles. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
