1966 Series 2a on Galvanised chassis for sale
!!! On hold with deposit !!! Going to be sad to see her go... Will confirm when she's left, thanks everyone for all the interest.
Original BC vehicle, we have title, completely rebuilt on Galvanised chassis, all stainless bolts. Advertising here hoping to get people who are going to appreciate, enjoy and look after her...
The Good: Solid galvanised chassis, great bulkhead, stainless nuts and bolts, parabolic springs and old man Emu suspension, rebuilt Axles with new swivel housings, overdrive, free Wheeling hubs, front disc conversion, Weber carb, new battery, starts and runs great, Safari roof, spare wheel hood, many new parts under the hood, doesn't cost $35k+, ready to go topless for summer!!
The Bad: Rear wheel cylinders are shot, the exhaust is good but exits on drivers side and should go to back, door frames and hood are crusty.
The ugly: Well it depends if you appreciate that everything is rebuilt, but that it looks like a heap of crap! Personally, I love it... 56 years of history that looks cool and gets more smiles per gallon than any car I've owned... Accelerator linkage needs cleaning and lubricating as she's gone sticky.
Our Strata have decided they have a vendetta against me so I can no longer tinker with her and so she must go to a new home...
On storage insurance, so no test pilots please, anticipate trailering her or towing because of those back brakes.
Sunny White Rock, available most days for viewing with a couple of hours notice. Call or text Karen: 604 445 1211 offers considered once you've seen her. Thanks!

Thanks Franko! Yeah, if you know enough to know, this means zero welding and hours saved, just leaving the fun stuff if you want to fully restored or otherwise simply use and enjoy. I think she's priced realistically...

Hello,
Just a quick question about the Chassis, was it a new galvanized chassis or was the old one just repaired and dipped?
