Heavy duty rear bumper for the RRC

#1 Post by Ryukyurvr » Sun Feb 02, 2020 9:15 am

A few years back there used to be a company that made a heavy duty rear bumper for the RRC, and if I recall it had a rear tire mount as my 235x85r16’s don’t fit inside the wheel well. Anyone know if there still made and by whom?

I don’t know about the bumper but I bought a Wilco hitch mount swingaway tire carrier for my RRC due to my larger tires. It works great.

I do like the looks, but I’m concerned with recovery points as I tend to recover a lot of vehicles in the spring and fall when weather makes the roads harder to navigate.

There was a club member (Ryan) who had one on his white RRC, I believe it was from a local company www.cruisinoffroad.com
I know its not a Heavy Duty Rear Bumper but maybe they would build you something?

Can see it in this photo on the way up to Hut Lake, Squamish area
