Watts link to Panhard Rod

#1 Post by DiscoSlice » Tue Oct 01, 2019 11:11 am

Anyone out there with experience of any kind relating to swapping out my watts link for a panhard rod. My second set of watts bushings have failed and I’m keen to find a better solution. I’m not against the bent & twisted Lucky8 or RTE link arms. But welding on a panhard rod does seem to be cheaper.

What make bushings are you fitting? Doing some extreme wheeling?

I couldn’t tell you the brand of either of the two sets of bushings I installed. And I certainly wouldn’t say extreme.

You probably just need decent quality bushings. Unless you are running a lot more travel than stock, the bushing should last a very long time.
