Swing Away Wheel Carrier... recommendations
Looking for any recommendations on a spare tyre door swing, and if anyone has installed one before.. scale of 1 - 10! lol

Had a MANTEC on a 110, install is straightforward and it handled a very heavy tire nicely. Only complaint was that the shock absorber (sort of a slider unit) would rattle on rough roads. I never really found a solution to that but otherwise it was a decent unit.

Cheers Rob, I will take a look at that one. The other people say is good is the one from Britparts.

Hi Stu&Sly. Maybe try posting this on one of the threads that's not just for Van Isle. Simon in Enderby has made a beautiful one for his Defender.

Stay away from britpart... The stuff is garbage... Mantec makes a good product.
