clutch plate and pressure plate

can someone clarify this for me , iam putting a 2.5na diesel in my 64 88 , i want to use a 9.5 clutch i should be ordering the pressure plate for a late 2a with the ring on the fingers correct ? the transmission is a suffix c and has the early throwout bearing style. the later series 3 9.5 pressure plate does not have the ring and will not work with the early transmission right? does anyone know if i need to do anything to the flywheel to make this work as its the one out of the defender. thanks Troy
