Hi, I am in the middle of restoring my 1951 series 1 and need to start sourcing some replacement parts wondering if anyone has the following main parts that they would be willing to part with.
Front bumper
Both front wings/fenders
Also after various small parts like the clips to hold the hood down so if you have any of those I would also be interested.
Have a great Thanksgiving
Russell

Hi Russell,
Welcome to the Rover-Landers forum, where are you located? It would be great to see a few photos...
Tell us a little bit about your 1951 story.
There are quite a few Series 1 owners on here so I'm sure a few parts can be found. Also Jeremy at Rocky Mountain, West Vancouver has Series 2/3 parts in stock, so maybe able to help if any of the parts you need are shared with the later models.
Cheers,
Andy

I am located in Abbotsford but the Series 1 is in the interior.
I was given the series 1 by my father in law as it was built near to where I used to live in the UK. It has sat for over 12 years. In the last year I have got the engine running. Cleaned and restored the dash and instruments and just finished the fuel tank yesterday. There is quite a bit of body work to get fixed.
Struggling to put the photos up but have a blog where you can see loads of pictures and work I have done.

Hopefully if I can convince my father in law I can bring it to the founders day this year.

Hi Russell,
80" sheet metal is difficult to find, but can be sourced new from the UK.
Dunsfold is the best source I found for parts when i did my 80".
Also try wwspares (http://www.wwspares.co.uk/)
If the pictures in your blog is your 80", the front fenders look fairly good and likely can be restored. In fact, she is in much better shape than mine was when I found her. :bounce:
I have a spare 80" front bumper I'd be willing to part with.
PM me offline.
Martin

Thanks for the details. The wings/fenders are not original someone has made some square ones on both sides looks like ducting material.
Lots of the body has been damaged so good to know where other people have got their parts from.
Thanks
