This was posted earlier today on another forum. Boy, I don't feel nearly as stupid about the dumb things I do after seeing this...

Hard to believe yes…and no, in fact the more I see happen on the street…why would I think driver’s get any smarter off-road. :shock:

I can only guess that after failing to winch up that steep bank that they thought they could pull it accross the lake on top of the ice! (but the ice wasn't thick enough!). :shock:

That front bumper pulling off reminds me of my factory bull bars failing & ripping off on the first Whipsaw trip!
The lesson there is to get the tow points onto the chassis (if possible) & dont pull on your bumpers.

Cant help but feel bad for the owner of that truck, he obviously had put a lot of work into his truck & learnt a lesson the hard way!
