Will and 86 series 1 frame work at all for a 88 series 2a?
I need a new or better frame then I have now. And I may have found a good series 1 frame.
Odd question?

Re: Odd question?
No it won't.
What's your existing frame like? I had to replace the rear crossmember, gearbox crossmember and rebuild the front frame horns as well as several small patches. I've never welded before but taught myself and once I practiced on some scrap I was able to salvage my frame.

That sounds just like mine lol. And yes I have a Lincoln 110 flux core.
Who did you order your rear crossmember from?
Maybe I should really just come check yours out :-)

Re: Odd question?
Jeremy at Rocky Mountain parts (1 (888) 880-2600) in vancouver can bring in the cross members. Everything else I just fabricated from sheet steel. These frames are way over engineered and usually you can patch them up until you can afford a new galvanized chassis!
Is your truck in town yet? I could come have a look at it and see if it's any worse than mine was.
