Does anyone know how the interior front top trim on a series IIA attaches?, the part that has the sun visors and rear view mirror. The PO of my truck fastened it to the brackets that hold the headliner up but it looks weird.
I see some holes in the trim that line up with the eyebrows but theres also a centre hole that doesnt line up with anything. Is there supposed to be another bracket or panel behind the trim panel maybe?
Thanks,
Terry

Re: Interior Front trim, series IIA
Here are a couple of pictures of mine ('71 late 2A), before and after taking the roof off....there were 3 screws, one at each corner into the galvanized frame of the roof which also has the holes for the bolts which hold the roof and windshield together, and one in the middle - the mirror foot also serves to pinch the trim in place, 2 screws I believe.

Thanks! The pictures are much appreciated.
I found the corner holes, tiny!
I am also rebulding a late IIA (1971MY)

Glad it was helpful. Sounds like you have sun visors - mine didn't come with those but I may have some from the donor Series 3. I had another Series 3 many years ago but I prefer the late 2A interior, the simpler dash and instrument panel.
