See red circled part in pic. I have seen this part on a couple late IIA's but can't figure out what it's for. From this picture it appears to be some electric apparatus...with a coolant hose attached? Anybody know what it is??

Hi
Yes it is a circulating block heater,it may even still work. That style is great as they warm the coolant in the heater core also. They are however supposed to be mounted as low as possible to work correctly.
