safari top dimesion

can anyone give me the dimension for a safari top / tropical top from the rain gutter to the top of the sun shield ? starting to build a roof rack next week and i would like to make it tall enough for a safari top / tropical top , i cannot seem to find that dimension anywhere , thank you

I have both styles lying around here... the standard roof is for sale, btw.

On my '61 SII 88 it is pretty much spot on 9 inches from the bottom of the gutter to the top of the sun shield. Add 1/2 inch where the vent bumps pop up.

We are talking Land Rover here so I'd allow for probably +/- 1/2 inch for diferent production runs. :?
