I found this old picture of my 62 88 IIa on the way up to the Index Wall in about 2001 I think. I broke the frame at the front spring mount later that day, interesting ride home!

Great photo, looks like a fun trail!

Where abouts is the "index wall"?

Thanks Andy. The "wall trail" used to lead from just off hwy 2 in WA up to the top of a cliff that is above the town of Index. It's been off limits to trucks since 2009 I think. The entrance to it is near another formerly popular off road area called the "Reiter Pit", which I think is still partially open. The wall trail was pretty fun, with everything from tight forest trails with stumps every 10 ft, to slick rock. Just another casualty of too many people living too close by.
