in my latest Overland Journal [ winter 2013 ] , i read with great interest the Historic Overland Journey ' La Croisiere Jaune ' . it reminded me of the Bedaux expedition [ 1934 ] in northern BC where 5 Citroen half tracks were used in his attempt to reach Telegraph Creek BC . there is a dvd called the Champagne Safari about this expedition and a book ' Bannock and Beans ... a cowboy's account of the Bedaux Expedition ' .
