I'll be there next year for sure! :cry:
Trail must have been nice and "goopy" in a few spots.
What did the temperature get down to at night?

Re: Whipsaw End of Season Clean up and dinner - Oct 19th & 2
A brief run down of the weekend;
Nine trucks ran the Whipsaw (From the south end) Three other trucks went straight to Lodestone Lake from Princeton end and set up the camp. The Whipsaw was about 50% snow covered, snow being about 6" to 1ft in places. Some icy snow covered patches on the hills required full concentration to climb / decend. We had mostly bright sunshine all weekend, a little whisper of cloud when crossing Granite Mountain. We all had garbage bags in hand and multiple beer cans / tins were collected along the trail. Some of the more bazarre things we cleared from the roadside were a shot-up colour printer, plastic inner wheel arch and 100+ plastic shot gun casings.
A few extra Whipsaw marker signs were installed along the way.
The convoy arrived at Lodestone Lake around 5.30pm, our hosts had a big campfire and dinner on the go followed by home made Apple Crisp desert (and a few beverages ...) The temperture was about 5 degs around the lake and a lot milder than past years. (see Bill, not so bad!).
Just before noon we left Lodestone Lake and headed out Champion Trail which took us out to the Coquahalla Highway via a fun "short cut" that Greg lead us through. The shortcut involved a little tugging and winching and was a lot of fun. (but not really short lol ..).
Thanks to all for what was a very enjoable weekend!
